Sault Ste. Marie:
Found ourselves in the ‘Soo’ during RotaryFest, an annual summer festival put on by the Rotary Club near the waterfront.
As we will be missing the CNE this year, it may be one of the few times for the kids to get their faces stuffed with cotton candy and potato tornados – Faces were painted and balloons twisted, Fisher with the classic half skull, and Milo with the dragon eye, with his ensemble completed with a dragon ballon animal.
Afterwards, we grabbed some grub from the Burger Don, where we almost got stuck in the parking lot.
While Nicole was inside placing our take-out order, it turns out one of their regulars had an emergency episode and EMS were called in, blocking our car in. The kids were panicking that we may never get out of the parking lot, and that we may starve or something… but the crisis was averted…
