Winnipeg:
On the recommendation of a former colleague, we decided to book a hotel close to The Forks in Winnipeg.
After check-in and reading up a bit more about what there is to see here, we decided to extend our stay from two nights to four.
Today we went to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and it was an incredible experience. Not only were the exhibits inspiring, but the architecture both inside and out was stunning. You literally walk from darkness to light as you ascend through the eight levels of the museum…
The boys got to try out a VR experience – Weaving a Better Future – about Indigenous Mayan Women in Guatemala.
And here is a view of a bridge over one of the rivers from the top of the spire in the museum.
