Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful, beloved little home, physically and legally. Emotionally, it will take a while longer.
Today, after over nine months of planning and expectation, we begin a new life on the road, looking for a deeper perspective on the meaning of “home” while we seek out a new one.
This wasn’t a decision that we made lightly or rashly, but with my losing my job and our decision to unschool our kids last year, it seemed like we had perfect timing.
We are not sure how long, or how far our travels will take us, but we look forward to the journey.
